Billy Richards – Senior Pastor

Pastor Billy is our Senior Pastor. He is a gifted communicator, and a licensed explosives expert. He has 2 great sons, and is married to Shelley, his lovely wife. When he’s not preaching he can be seen in a boat on one of the many lakes in Southwestern Ontario.

Roger Berg – Executive Associate Pastor

Roger Berg oversees administration here at Queensway. Roger loves to support a non-Toronto Maple Leafs team that plays out of Montreal (we won’t mention which one). He is also an avid golfer and loves to eat burgers and fries. When he’s not managing the daily operations here, he resides in Oakville with the love of his life, Jan. They have 2 grown children.

Gary Empey – Assistant Pastor

Gary comes to Queensway after serving at Master’s College & Seminary. He is in charge of our discipleship department here at the church. Gary’s lovely wife Marylka and two daughters are also a big part of his life and are involved in various aspects of life here at Queensway. We need to mention that Gary is an avid Argos fan, and has a wardrobe of over 50 Hawaiian shirts, all hand made, and imported from his travels abroad.

Karen Milley – Assistant Pastor

Karen has many responsibilities at Queensway – Women’s Ministry, Prayer Ministry, Missions, 45 South and a bunch of other things, including keeping her fridge stocked with water, diet coke and chocolate bars for the rest of the staff to raid. Karen is happily married to Dwayne who keeps Karen technologically equipped to do her work at Gigabit Speed and helps her maintain a large collection of 80’s music on her pink ipod.

Ed Clements– Minister of Pastoral Care

Ed  grew up in the GTA and has a keen interest in the art of culinary experimentation. (Since he likes to eat, he likes to cook!) He loves going on missions trips and has been to Cuba (10 times), Uganda, Israel, Trinidad, most recently the Ukraine and even drove a John Deere planting Canola in Saskatchewan.  Other travels have taken him to Alaska, Brazil, England, France, Hawaii, Italy, and on tours across Canada and the USA.  Ed is involved in Pastoral Care, the amazing Queensway Seniors, Singles and occasional forays into the Arts.  If you have any movie trivia questions, ask him.  What most people don’t know is that he has been skydiving. Wow, it is quiet up there.

Tim Crooks – Minister of Youth

Tim and his lovely wife Heather have 2 fantastic kids. Tim oversees our Youth Ministries Department and has pastored in Owen Sound, Kanata, and Ottawa. Tim is also a die hard Toronto Maple Leafs fan and like the rest of the staff, loves eating at the Olive Garden. When he’s not at work, Tim likes to fish with his son, or go whitewater rafting.

Rich Bodnar – Technical Director

Rich takes care of the many “Behind the Scenes” things that make Queensway run. He is an avid rollercoaster enthusiast and loves hosting pyrotechnics displays, and playing with the latest tech gadgets. Rich oversees all the technical aspects of the church, produces our weekly television program “The Truth”, and is heavily involved in productions such as the Toronto Passion Play.

Mike Read– Children’s Ministry Pastor

Mike and Mary have been married for the past 19 years and have 2 daughters and 1 son. Mike oversees our children’s ministry department. While he’s a great guy, Mike is a bit of a mystery when it comes to hockey loyalities, being both a Leafs fan and also a Habs fan – we know that’s just not possible! He is also an avid golfer (at the indoor glow in the dark golf centre) and loves to play guitar. Mike is a graduate of EPBC and also of George Brown College where he specialized in Culinary Management – a definite bonus for our church staff!

Steve Munshaw – Music Director

Steve is the Arts Pastor of Queensway Cathedral overseeing productions, special events, training programs and arts ministries. For the last 20 years he has served as a full-time worship music pastor across canada and has partnered with some of the most amazing people in ministry in this great country. He is also a pioneer in the Christian arts climate in Canada and continues to seek ways to encourage artists to become outstanding in sacred and secular communities. His wife, Sara and three children, Stephanie, Sharisa & Sebastian, are absolutely amazing and each gifted in their own amazing way. Steve & Sara have a passion for the Mediterranean and have led worship missions teams to that area.
Who knows - maybe one day he'll retire on a beach somewhere off the coast of Spain.

Josh Hageman – Young Adults Pastor

Josh is our Young Adults Pastor and has been recently promoted to be the proud father of an adorable baby girl. Josh and his beautiful wife Jordan are the newest members of the Queensway family. When he’s not hanging out with the Young Adults to bring change into the community, he can be found creating abstract paintings and transforming dull office spaces into sleek urban designs.

Donny Cooze - Media Arts Pastor

Donny overseas our Media Department using a combination of technology. He and his wife Pamela have two amazing children, Morgan and Aaron. A graduate from Tynndale University, Donny has pastored in Prince Edward Island, but is orginally from the GTA. He loves spending time with his family camping and using his days off to go Mountain Biking.

Jackie Benford - Associate Music Director

Jackie is a worship leader, musician, singer, songwriter and visual artist. She loves to travel and even though no-one would guess, Jackie is a secret thrill seeker who would like to try paragliding and one day go scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef. She enjoys spending time with her family, close friends and her husband Paul, who keeps her laughing.
Jackie desires to see people passionate about worship through various artistic expressions.

Mervyn Thomas – Assistant Minister of Pastoral Care

Mervyn and his lovely wife Sheila have been married for 49 years, and have three children and six grandchildren. They pastored in the U.K. before going as missionaries to Africa for 25 years, first in Tanzania, then later in Kenya. Mervyn assists Pastor Ed Clements in ministering to Queensway’s seniors, shut-ins and the hospitalized.
